PERSONAL PROPERTY DECLARATION

Online filing is available to those with an existing active account. If you do not have your account number, search for your account by visiting: Personal Property Information

This declaration is used by the county assessor to determine the taxable value of your personal property, e.g. vehicles, recreational equipment, livestock, farm machinery, etc.

The information you provide will be used to prepare your annual tax bill. A declaration must be filed annually, even if there are no changes in the property to be reported.

Missouri Statute Chapter 137 Section 137.340 requires that every person owning or controlling tangible personal property shall file with the Assessor, in the county where they reside, an itemized return listing tangible property owned or controlled on January 1.

If you are changing your Personal Property address for 2025, please file your Personal Property Declaration online and make any address changes on the Declaration page. If you have already filed your Personal Property Declaration, please continue to the Mailing Address Change form.
